| Welcome to the Red Cross and Red Crescent section in the Library of Life. This section provides a unique record of Red Cross and Red Crescent members, volunteers and staff. You can create your own website or pay tribute to those in the Red Cross and Red Crescent's history who have inspired you. |
| Library of Life has been established to protect the memories of humanity. The aim of the project is to compile the life stories of people from around the world, creating the first record of life that everyone can contribute to. All websites are kept online forever by the Library of Life Trust, so everybody's story is preserved in one place for all time. |
Through the Red Cross and Red Crescent section in the Library of Life you can:
- Read about the activities of others around the world (example).
- Learn about different approaches to helping people in need (example).
- See how the Fundamental Principles are applied in different cultures (example).
- Pick up some new ideas (example).
- Feel inspired by what people in the Red Cross and Red Crescent have done in the past and are doing today (example).
- Tell the story of your work for the Red Cross & Red Crescent (example).

In your record you can also:
- Put up to 300 pictures in the photo album and create a slideshow.
- Publish audio and video clips.
- Create a timeline of your service history.
- Have a guestbook for others to add their contributions.
